Our company operates a fully automated, PLC-controlled painting line, which offers the key advantage of flexible robotic material handling. The automated setup is suitable for different pre-treatments and painting of metal and plastic components. The paint application takes place in 4 Moldow wet booths. The high finishing quality is provided by Wagner application and Fanuc painting robots.

We have 4 combined Blowtherm liquid paint booths available for painting of low-volume series and complex geometries.

To ensure high and consistent quality, the optimal levels of paint parameters are maintained in a climate-controlled paint kitchen, along with automated Wagner paint feeding systems. Depending on customer expectations, we are capable of creating waterborne and solventborne, 1K or multi-component coatings in variable layer order according to specific customer requirements. Several tools are available to achieve efficient and cost-effective paint application, including:

• HVLP spray gun
• Electrostatic bell
• Electrostatic conventional spray gun

To ensure the quality of the coating, we employ the following methods for inspection:

• Coating thickness measurement
• Adhesion testing
• Color matching
• Gloss measurement
• Wave-scan

For fault analysis we use the following tools:

• Microscope
• Microtome
• Polished sample preparation
